Women’s Health Week – 5 – 11 September

By September 6, 2022Health News

Bone Health

Women have a significantly higher risk of developing osteoporosis than men. So, we are using this week as a reminder to all women that it is important to keep their body moving.

Exercise plays a vital role in maintaining the health of your bones. This is important for women of all ages, not just as we get older!

Not all exercise has the same impact on our bone health. Bones respond well to a degree of impact, making weight bearing exercises and resistance training very beneficial.

If you feel your ability to exercise is being affected by pain or issues with your balance, Chiropractic care may help get you moving again.

Make your health a priority this Women’s Health Week.
