4 Ways To Love Your Spine This World Spine Day

How often have you thought about your spine today?

We rarely give if the attention it deserves considering we rely on it heavily as we move through out our day.

In light of World Spine Day why not give your Spine some of the love it deserves by doing the following simple things:

  • Be mindful of your posture

Hold your head high and keep your shoulders back. Have both feet resting flat on the floor when you are sitting, trying not to cross your legs.

  • Practice responsible lifting

If you are lifting something heavy keep your posture upright, bending at the knees instead of your waist. Keep the object close to your body and use your leg muscles to lift.

  • Get moving and stay active

Take regular breaks from your desk, take the stairs instead of the lift. There are lots of ways you can add more movement into your day.
